Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her role as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on films and television shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on the 26th of July 1993. She has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. She began acting professionally aged three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake and Bake. Momsen's acting career came to a halt for over three years, until she landed her first lead role on the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared at the moment in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). Additionally, she auditioned to be the lead character for Hannah Montana. She was among the top 3, but Miley was given the part.
